I really enjoyed this easy read.

Lissa(living vampire princess) and Rosa( protector, guardian and bff) have been on the run for awhile and living in the real world. They are captured and sent back to an academy for Vampires and Guardians. we eventually learn why they were on the run. Now someone is trying to recreate the events that lead up to them running. Rosa and Lissa have a special mental bond that keeps them connected, which comes in handy a couple times. 
There is SOOO much high school drama in this book, cheating, lying about sex, cruelty max. erg. 


On the plus side I really enjoyed Christian and his story, and wanted good things for him. and Dimitri - Oh Dimitri- I LOVED him - 7 years older, and forbidden fruit. *Sigh.


I did not hate this book. The idea of seperate vamp races and a specialized school for Vamps is pretty intriguing. But I will not continue the series. It was a bit too young for me. I enjoy a good YA but I guess this one was just not for me .

Diego a Las Vegas detective is nearby, and takes the call even though he is not part of the shifter division. If you have read the previous books you know Shifters are treated like second class citizens and do not share equality with humans.

Diego arrests Cassidy even after she saves him from falling off of the building. Instead of handing her over to the Shifter division, he takes her case, making her only serve probation, part of that probation is that she has to stay in Shiftertown, and Diego makes sure she stays there ..


Ohhhhh yea, this book had all kinds of goodness!

Diego is dark eyed Latin lover!!

And he COOKS!! Cassidy is very torn about her afections for Cassidy because its only been a year since her mate passed..
Our bad guy is not really that bad, just despirate, and I personlly cannot wait to read his book too! 

We have awesome subplots of a half human shifter being discover and Eric is VERRRRRRRY interested.

2 Stars Barely. Usually I read a book in little over a day. However, I struggled through this book, slugging through the awfulness. URGH, I am so angry that this book was so awful. When we met Jess in previous books I LOVED HIM! I had such high hopes and waited with baited breath to get to his book. AAAAAAAAAAAAARG. Terrible. Awful. Atrocious. Dreadful. Words cannot express how much I disliked Abigail, ugh, DUMB.. *DUM DUM DUM DUM(singsong) Really? you want me to believe that she is soooooo clueless that she couldn't tell the difference between the Appolites and Daemons? Um, No. And if that's not bad enough, SK tries to make the reader feel bad for her. BUT I JUST WANTED HER TO DIE..LOL THEN we have JESS.. God I love this guy but Sh*t, come one man. Did your brains get sucked out by the Gods? I mean, lets break this down. -She kills your fellow Darkhunter's, sentencing them to a life of shadedom -She tries to kill you -She is dumb as a box of rocks -She is a simpering fool that does not get facts about anything and just blindly follows So, add all that up and what do you get? Oh, I know, Big ole Puppy dog eyes and Instalove! ARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGGG So, this nonsense plot claims to have the fate of the world at stake but actually ends with no real conclusion and no real repercussions. Oh, and of course they have sex at a time that makes NO SENSE. Its like, Sk said "Hmmmm, where can I shove a realistic sex scene in this supbar plot? OH, this will due." The ONLY plus in this whole book was when it was over. Seriously. The book wasn't BAD but I have come to expect a great story from Suzanne Wright and I did not get that in this book. I felt very let down. Unfortunately with M and R's story I felt like Suzanne was just going through the motions. Yes she has improved on the female characters and their odd similarities, but ultimately it left me wanting more. The normally steamy scenes felt more like luke warm. Also I could not get past the fact that Ronnies mothers personality seem to have completely changed from nicks book. I haven't seen this mentioned in any other reviews but feel like I must bring it up. The woman with Saint like if not over friendly and nice and Nick's book, but in this one? Oh no she is a monster ... Huh? I commented on another review that I did today that I have been very disappointed in my recent reads. I have not found a book that I could not put down/could finish in a day ( like the norm) in so long I can't even tell you what the book was. I know that it has been at least two months since I have found a book worthy of a 4.5 or 5 star review. That is very disheartening. I am wondering if I need to completely change up my genre for a while, that seems to help sometimes when I can't seem to find anything worth reading. So, to all you bibliophiles out there I wish you happy reading and wish you better lucky picking then I have had as of late .

Sparks fly in this book, we seen pretty quickly that Mason is not quite the monster he wants Olivia to think he is. He is seriously damaged by the tortured memories of juvie, and the loss of a friend there. But neither of them can stop the attraction from building after all of these years. J

This was a good read, I could have taken a BIT more spice… but I enjoyed this one!

Eternal Hunger is the first book in this series about the Roman Brothers Alexander, Lucian and Nicholas.
Eternal Hunger is Alexander's book. He is dark and broody and is the oldest. When Alexander is caught on the city streets going through Morpho (changing from a day walker to a night walker with special powers) early he is sure to die in the rising sun.

Sara is a doctor in a mental hospital where she she has searched tirelessly for years for a cure to help a particular patient that holds a special place in her heart without success.

Sara finds Alex dying on her doorstep and she protects him from the sun. What happens after that is a worldwind. There are crazy mental patients, Vampire sex piles, a super bad man out to punish all pure blood vamps.

REVIEW

 Let me just say that from the first chapter I was sucked into this book.

Kate, a vamp on probation, witnesses a murder and is left with a child that is not hers.  
Nicholas Roman has a past he isn't proud of and a present he is hiding from even his family.

In trying to find the boys family, Kate reaches out to Nicholas who is anything buy willing to help. Kate is too perfect. Her face, her hair, her deep distrusting eyes. He wonders if she is a trap in the making.

I really enjoyed this story, Nicholas was such a tortured man, I pittied him for his past and for what he was still doing to himself. I loved that Kate was such a strong h, she fought for him and was unwilling to let him fall into his pattern. She refused to back down and pulled him out of a terrible spiral. That was refreshing for me .

We also get a peek at the youngest Roman brother again, Lucian, I just KNOW his book and Greys book are going to be great! Knowing that he will probably be the breeding male really sits heavy with him.


This book had some super steamy scenes, even with the h being a Virgin.. *Sigh* These vamp women have some strange ideas. lol ;) Super enjoyable read.

 Marie works the night shift at Midnight Liaisons, a dating service for the paranormal. Shifters, Vampires, and Fae come together here to date. Marie has a problem, a rare hereditary disease passed from her mother is killing her. When a lightbulb goes off in Marie's head that if she is changed by one of her clients she will live, because the Paranormal world isn't susceptible to disease. But Marie has a dilemma, Shifters have been prohibited to change humans after an incident. That leaves a vampire.
Josh, a shifter has been sniffing around Marie for quite some time, but due to his reputation as a womanizer Marie is oblivious to his flirting. She believes it is just his way.  While Marie is Sneaking out on her shift on the Downlow to date her vamps he is festering in jealousy lol.
Let me just say that I LOLed on a couple of her dates. They were that bad.
Marie gets herself in a couple of sticky situations and Josh ends up eeking into her heart. But if she has a vamp change her she will be bout to the vamp. She will be unable to be with Josh.

I  enjoyed this edition of the Midnight Liasons series. The steamy scenes were great. However, something that really bothers me in books is  when the H or h act like they are in  a corner or have no options or are overly dense. I kinda felt like Marie made it difficult for herself from the beginning. I mean... you BFF's are shifters.. You Know?
