Royal Chase  by Sariah Wilson

Booking her client, Prince Dante of Monterra, on reality show Marry Me is a royal coup for PR agent Lemon Beauchamp. But thanks to a last-minute glitch, Lemon must pretend to be one of the contestants vying to win the playboy prince’s love and then live happily ever after—at least until the publicity tour ends.

Prince Dante agreed to go on the show to find a wife, even though he already has the perfect candidate in mind. She’s smart, funny, sexy, and completely uninterested in wealth and fame. She’s also absolutely determined to keep him at arm’s length.

Even if Lemon weren’t already engaged, she can’t trust a notorious flirt like Dante. So she ignores the lingering looks. Those subtle, thrilling touches. That pulse-quickening kiss. Until suddenly, Lemon isn’t playing for the cameras. She’s lovestruck for real, and just maybe, the man behind the title is the one who’s always been in her heart

If you add a financially sound Cinderlla tale with the Bachelor you get this book.
Overall I enjoyed this read, I was somewhat underimpressed with all of the "Lemon" reference after about halfway through the book though. "My name is Lemon, I love lemon soap, and lemon perfume, and lemon flowers.... um no, not quite realistic... but I don't really have the right to harp on something that small when the entire storyline requires a bit of reality suspending LOL.
So,
Lemon has recently graduated with her Master's degree and started a PR firm ... her only clients are the Monserra Royal Family (Her BFF is marrying the Crowned Prince.. I HAVE GOT TO START MAKING FRIENDS WITH this GROUP OF PEOPLE. Throughout the book we get glimses of Lemon and Prince Dante's interactions.

So THIS book is about Prince Dante's appearance on a Bachelor-like show, and of course NO ONE recognizes him as a prince... SAVE ONE which causes Lemon to have to fill in. WHOOPS!!.

From here, we have zany adventure after zany adventure. You've got backstabbing actresses with fake accents, women that think the moon is REALLY made of cheese, and all the while Lemon is trying to remind herself that Dante isn't REALLY wanting her even though he is CONTINUALLY confessing his feeling and telling her she makes him a better man...

So, I would say it was enjoyable if not predictable read that could have been about 100 pages shorter if you cut out all of Lemons Woe's me nonsense. BOO. But I did enjoy it overall.

I received an ARC from NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.

Vampires Never Cry Wolf (Dead in the City #3)

by Sadie Pemberton is the DJ at the hottest vampire club in New York City, and she loves her freedom almost as much as she hates werewolves. She has no desire to tie herself to anyone for eternity—even the deliciously sexy Killian Bane—werewolf prince and heir apparent who has been sent to patrol the city.

But Sadie bears the mark of the moon—the mark that Killian has been looking for, the mark that's meant to reveal his perfect mate. How can the fates be so cruel? Even more importantly, how is he ever going to change her mind?__________________________________________________________

Really enjoyed this one ! Great steamy read and man o' man Killian was Delicious.

Everyone KNOWS New York is vampire territory, but apparently  werewolf prince, Killian  doesn’t really care! He has plans to open his own hot club, a club that will rival sexy Vamp Sara Humphreys.  When scoping out the competition Killian gets more than he bargains for in Sadie,  and to say ogling ensued would be an understatement. He may have just found his mate... and she is NOT were-kind. I really enjoyed this book, I have not read he first 2 in the series and it did not affect my enjoyment BUT I will be popping out to purchase them promptly!

Wicked Lies (Men of Summer, #2) by Lora Leigh

Wicked Lies (Men of Summer, #2)
by

Annie goes back to the town that "Betrayed her"  surround by her family in her amazing disguise of contacts and hair dye... Personally, if i had killers on my trail i might consider a TAD more cover.
Other that that small issue I found this read to be a traditional Lora Leigh panty melter. Super steamy erotic love scenes between the reluctant couple, and just enough secrets and intrigue to keep you on your toes.

Mellie Smithson has few choices. Marry her cousin or the handsome annoying guest of her father. Her country is seriously low on choices.  She just wants to get to London to meet more eligible men.

Vampire Academy (Vampire Academy #1) by Richelle Mead

Vampire Academy (Vampire Academy #1)

4.15 of 5 staSt. Vladimir’s Academy isn’t just any boarding school—it’s a hidden place where vampires are educated
in the ways of magic and half-human teens train to protect them. Rose Hathaway is a Dhampir,
a bodyguard for her best friend Lissa, a Moroi Vampire Princess. They’ve been on the run,
but now they’re being dragged back to St. Vladimir’s—the very place where they’re most in danger. . . .
Rose and Lissa become enmeshed in forbidden romance, the Academy’s ruthless social scene, and unspeakable nighttime rituals. But they must be careful lest the Strigoi—the world’s fiercest and most dangerous vampires—make Lissa one of them forever.

In the world this book creates there are two types of vampires.
Bad guys = Dead Vampires - eat and kill the living vamps.
Good guys = living vampires. feed on willing humans.

Lissa(living vampire princess) and Rosa( protector, guardian and bff) have been on the run for awhile and living in the real world. They are captured and sent back to an academy for Vampires and Guardians. we eventually learn why they were on the run. Now someone is trying to recreate the events that lead up to them running. Rosa and Lissa have a special mental bond that keeps them connected, which comes in handy a couple times.
There is SOOO much high school drama in this book, cheating, lying about sex, cruelty max. erg.
Oh that is like the best exasperated expression EVER!!!

On the plus side I really enjoyed Christian and his story, and wanted good things for him. and Dimitri - Oh Dimitri- I LOVED him - 7 years older, and forbidden fruit. *Sigh.

I did not hate this book. The idea of seperate vamp races and a specialized school for Vamps is pretty intriguing. But I will not continue the series. It was a bit too young for me. I enjoy a good YA but I guess this one was just not for me .

Marcus has singled her out for seduction, and he wants to make her sit up and beg.

No matter how aloof and unfazed Roni acts, Marcus can tell she wants him. When a brutal attack by a jackal pack forces them to work together, it’s the perfect opportunity for Marcus to chip away at her defenses—until he falls into his own trap, completely unprepared for the intensity of their connection. hmmm. Let me start off by saying that I have been a huge fan of this series and anxiously wait for every book she writes. Unfortunately with this addition to the series I felt seriously let down. I have been waiting for over a year for this book to come out and then I get this!!?? The book wasn't BAD but I have come to expect a great story from Suzanne Wright and I did not get that in this book. I felt very let down. Unfortunately with M and R's story I felt like Suzanne was just going through the motions. Yes she has improved on the female characters and their odd similarities, but ultimately it left me wanting more. The normally steamy scenes felt more like luke warm. Also I could not get past the fact that Ronnies mothers personality seem to have completely changed from nicks book. I haven't seen this mentioned in any other reviews but feel like I must bring it up. The woman with Saint like if not over friendly and nice and Nick's book, but in this one? Oh no she is a monster ... Huh? I commented on another review that I did today that I have been very disappointed in my recent reads. I have not found a book that I could not put down/could finish in a day ( like the norm) in so long I can't even tell you what the book was. I know that it has been at least two months since I have found a book worthy of a 4.5 or 5 star review. That is very disheartening. I am wondering if I need to completely change up my genre for a while, that seems to help sometimes when I can't seem to find anything worth reading. So, to all you bibliophiles out there I wish you happy reading and wish you better lucky picking then I have had as of late .

REVIEW

The Millionaire’s Forever starts out with Olivia’s amazing shop, and amazing clients, and amazing life, and amazing millionaire fiancĂ©… So what’s the problem you ask? Their world wind childhood romance has captivated the A-listers, the media and the general public. Unfortunately, her finance is not real. Then suddenly, some rich handsome stranger tells the media HE is her beau!
Enter Mason Parker. He is cold. He is ruthless. He is going to bring Olivia DOWN!  Mason is not the stranger Olivia thought he was. He is the young man she pined over as a youth. However, Olivia father wronged Mason greatly by having him wrongfully convicted and sentenced to a juvenile correctional facility as a youth and his need for revenge is strong.
Mason deal is simple. He wants the piece of land that the correctional facility used to sit on. Olivia owns it. For six weeks Mason will play the fiancĂ©, and save her business from the impending scandal. In return he has those six weeks to convince Olivia to part with the land. However, Olivia has plans to build something for the community, and is determined make it happen.

Sparks fly in this book, we seen pretty quickly that Mason is not quite the monster he wants Olivia to think he is. He is seriously damaged by the tortured memories of juvie, and the loss of a friend there. But neither of them can stop the attraction from building after all of these years. J
This was a good read, I could have taken a BIT more spice… but I enjoyed this one!
